Teak Root,
Once the teak roots have been collected, each root is then cleaned and all debris is removed and the root is allowed to naturally air-dry.
Nature has a big part to play and may have already crafted the root towards being a table, chair, bench or sculpture. However, it is the eye and skill of the local craftsman who can hand finish the teak root into a stunning piece of furniture or sculpture. Teak root furniture differs from conventional furniture in the fact that it is sculptured and shaped as opposed to assembled and we do not use screws, bolts, nails, glue, joints or seams. Each piece is a naturally unique and an individual creation.Teak Root suitable for tables, coffee tables, chairs, benches, carvings and sculptures.
